Jaeyoon Heo

B.S. Materials Science and Engineering, Korea University (Expected Graduation Fall 2025)

Jaeyoon is from Seoul, South Korea. He is an undergraduate student from Korea University and is currently studying at UW–Madison. Before coming to UW-Madison, he conducted research at Seoul National University on ion-selective membrane mechanisms in organic neuromorphic devices, which introduced him to experimental device physics. In Prof. Jacobberger’s group, Jaeyoon is working on characterization of TMD materials, including exfoliation/transfer processes and analysis using SEM and Raman spectroscopy. In his free time, Jaeyoon enjoys running, playing soccer, photography, and exploring new places.
